Introducing – a new website completely ‘obsessed with Celtic’

THE CELTIC STAR is an exciting new addition to the Celtic support’s online experience.

Lisbon Lion Jim Craig is writing his diary every morning on the site and combines the day to day current events at the club with an informative look back through Celtic’s wonderful history.

Then there is The Celtic Star Podcast – A Celtic State of Mind which is co-hosted by Paul John Dykes and myself Kevin Graham. The podcast started out on another site but we’re much happier with a home of our own on The Celtic Star.

Current guest this week is Frank McAvennie and we talk mostly about the wonderful Centenary season – as usual it is a great listen!

David Potter, again well known at the Affiliation, is writing his insightful match reports for The Celtic Star, so you know that you’re getting honest, Celtic minded commentary and opinion on the matches without any MSM bias from a Celtic writer at actually at the match.

The new site looks great, much of that is down to the hugely talented @cartuja who some of you will know from Kerrydale Street or from Twitter.

The Celtic Star is edited by David Faulds, who is the publisher on numerous great Celtic books in recent years including Jim Craig’s Lisbon Lions Diary Right Back to 67, In The Heat of Lisbon, Bobby Evans Celtic’s Forgotten Hero and many more.

The book publishing will now be done exclusively through The Celtic Star.

The Celtic Star has writers travelling on our buses to the Celtic games home and away. The site is also covering Celtic’s matches in the Scottish Building Society Scottish Women’s Premier League One and will also update you on the Development league.

Unlike many other sites, a decision has been taken from the start NOT to cover events across the city, that seems to be covered very well elsewhere!
