David Potter talks us through the Joseph Rafferty CSC, Kirkcaldy

What is the history and the story of your club?

The club was founded in about 1995 by Joseph Rafferty whose son Stephen is our Bus and Ticket Convenor. Our banner is frequently seen at grounds, home and away.We have a big bus going to every home game and a minibus to all away games in Scotland.

Who Is your current commitee, how many members do you have and where do you leave from?

We have about 50 members and a committee of 8. And the bus leaves from the Weavers’ Bar in Katherine Street.

How would you describe your bus?

Our bus is friendly and non-members are welcome.

Who is the bus character?

We have quite a few characters on the bus. In one of our images we have a picture of some of our members, two of them members of the Committee , clearly overwhelmed by the stress and strain of managing the club affairs.

Charity, have any of your members done any charity work recently or does the club have a chosen charity.

we would like to think that we are well to the fore in participating in all Celtic charities. We have an Annual Dance and in recent years we have had guests like Billy McNeill, John Fallon, Bertie Auld, Charlie Gallagher, Neil Lennon, Anthony Stokes, Aiden McGeady and many others.

    HH.
I collect and make enamel badges for CSC’s.
Would your CSC like some new badges for the start of next season ?
I have helped over 190 UK/Irish CSC’s with badges over the years and Clubs find them a good fund raiser.
Contact me for details and if you would like to see some of my work that can be arranged.
    Yours in Celtic. Tony

Hi. I have a snack can just off the Kincardine Bridge on the A876 and wondered if your supporters bus would be interested in stopping in before you go to the match and end up paying exorbitant prices for frozen sausages and frozen burgers. I’d be happy to accommodate your supporters and provide them with decent grub at a reasonable price.
