Neil Lennon

There comes a time when enough is enough
You don’t need to put up with this bigoted stuff
Your terrorised and hassled you’ve done nothing wrong
You played for your country, where you were told you don’t belong.

You played in England for many a year
You played your football and lived without fear
Walk down the street and no one would ask
Catholic or Protestant …church or mass.

You’ve lived the bhoyhood dream you had
Growing up in Lurgan where you were a lad
You take abuse but you manage to smile
And you’ve made us better by a country mile.

Don’t let them win or drive you out
You’ve nothing to feel guilty about
There’s passion and pride in the way you are
As manager of Celtic you’ll go really far.

Willey Maley and Jock Stein
Two of the best that there’s ever been
But Neil we hope you stay around
So we can sing your name around the ground.

You’ve got some big shoes to try to fill
But you’re doing things really brill
So the crowd will tell you to a man
Not just a manager you’re a fan.
