This game has to be looked upon as a wake-up call to Celtic. It was sub-standard and way, way below what we saw last season. It was a big disappointment to the massive crowd that turned up on a fine night and made such noise that the absence of the Green Brigade was hardly noticed. There is no greater fan of the Green Brigade than myself. They add so much to the occasion at Celtic Park and elsewhere with their well co-ordinated singing and backing of the club. In some ways they are the envy of other clubs for their enthusiasm, and I am sure that the players on the field appreciate them. This was a stroll in the park for Celtic, and really should have been a lot more than 4-0. Perhaps it did not really prove very much, but it was satisfactory, nevertheless.
